Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) was designed as a seafront extension to the Dubai Marina district. It is effectively an island connected to the mainland through a series of bridges and bisected by a canal that is one of the Marina’s defining features. Spanning a length of 1.7 kilometres, JBR is purely residential and also has a vibrant lifestyle offering along the iconic promenade known as The Walk at JBR.
 
Since completion in 2010, it has become one of Dubai’s most significant leisure destinations, in large part due to its vast public beach and the variety of attractions including shops, restaurants and beach clubs.
