Caesars Palace Dubai*

Caesars Palace Dubai was a stunning combination of Roman grandeur and modern luxury, set on the tranquil shores of Bluewaters Island. As the first Caesars Palace outside of Las Vegas, it represented a significant milestone in Dubai’s ever-changing hospitality environment, providing tourists with world-class amenities, celebrity chef dining, and outstanding service. Sadly, the venue closed its doors in September last year, yet its story remains a remarkable chapter in the history of Bluewaters Island and Dubai’s tourism. The hotel played a pivotal role in shaping the area’s development, and its legacy continues to resonate. On November 13, 2023, the hotel officially became known as Banyan Tree Dubai.

The Vision Behind Caesars Palace Dubai

Caesars Palace Dubai captured the spirit of Dubai’s ambition to be a global luxury destination. The hotel evoked the splendour of the Roman Empire while integrating perfectly with Dubai’s architectural vision. Upon entering the luxurious lobby, a world of decadence unfolded, guests were greeted by marble floors, shimmering chandeliers, and an exquisite fresco ceiling, which was inspired by Renaissance art. Every detail was carefully curated to honour both historical grandeur and modern creativity.

The design included 194 magnificent rooms and suites that paid homage to the brand’s Las Vegas heritage while embracing Dubai’s unique character. Subtle elements such as mirrored sculptures, horse statues, and coin artwork celebrated Caesars’ history. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered unending views of the Arabian Gulf and the city’s wonderful skyline. For extended stays, the private residences provided spacious, fully furnished living areas that combined home comforts with quality.

Exclusive Beachfront Serenity

One of Caesars Palace Dubai’s most alluring features was its 500-metre private beach, which still remains under new management. This unspoiled beach is an exceptional find in Dubai and an escape from the busyness of the city. The five outdoor pools complement the beach’s splendour, each with its own distinct experience.

The Neptune Pool, allows for panoramic views of Ain Dubai, providing a family-friendly setting complete with private cabanas and sunbeds, and the adults-only Venus Beach Club radiates refinement with peaceful surroundings and an infinity pool that seems to flow perfectly with the sky. The beach clubs created the ideal balance of relaxation and enjoyment, with live DJ sets and exquisite amenities suited to those looking for a day of leisure.

A Culinary Masterpiece

Caesars Palace Dubai was home to 12 world-class restaurants, some of which are still open, delivering a distinct gastronomic experience. Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen stood out, as the acclaimed chef recreated his iconic British-American cuisine in an open kitchen setting. Guests could taste iconic dishes such as the famed Beef Wellington while witnessing the spectacular "Yes Chef" antics that established Hell's Kitchen as a culinary attraction in its own right.

Another culinary treasure is Alvin Leung's Demon Duck, a modern take on traditional Chinese and Asian dishes. Demon Duck, known for its intense flavours and imaginative presentation, quickly gained popularity among food connoisseurs. The unique cocktail menu, inspired by Hong Kong's dazzling nightlife, added to the restaurant's attraction, making it a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Venus Ristorante's Saturday brunch delivered the essence of Italy to Dubai, with authentic delicacies and bottomless limoncello cocktails. Whether it is Asian fusion, British classics, or Italian indulgence, Caesars Palace Dubai's dining selections truly stand out.

World-Class Wellness and Entertainment

Caesars Palace Dubai was not only a destination for luxury and leisure but also a place for wellness and entertainment. The Qua Spa, inspired by Japanese healing traditions, brought many moments of rejuvenation. It was the only spa in Dubai that offered the Iyashi Dome treatment, which uses infrared rays to purify and balance the body. Guests could enjoy a variety of therapies, from IV vitamin therapy to signature massages, all under the skilled supervision of highly qualified therapists. The spa's top products, such as Carol Joy London and Gentlemen's Tonic, ensured that all guests got pampered to the fullest.

For entertainment, The Rotunda at Caesars Palace Dubai brought a touch of Las Vegas to the Middle East with theatrical performances and world-class entertainment that left audiences thrilled. The energy of Las Vegas nightlife was also echoed at Cove Beach, an on-site entertainment centre where guests could enjoy live DJ sets and lively social gatherings.

Service Fit for Royalty

From butlers catering to suite guests, to pool attendants and concierge services that anticipated every need, the warm hospitality of Caesars Palace extends a welcoming atmosphere.

The Empire Kids Club provided families with a safe and engaging environment for children while babysitting services ensured parents could enjoy the luxurious amenities without worry. Every detail of the guest experience was thoughtfully designed to ensure a stay that exceeds expectations.

The resort also excelled as a business and event venue, with modern meeting rooms, a dedicated event hall, and conference services that catered to corporate and social groups alike. The adaptability of the venue, paired with the acclaimed Caesars brand, made it a popular place for high-profile conferences and celebrations.

A Lasting Legacy

Although Caesars Palace Dubai closed its doors, its impact on the city’s hospitality scene remains. A representation of Dubai’s architectural and entertainment ambitions, combined with a peaceful beachfront retreat and incredible entertainment experience, Caesars Palace’s legacy continues to fascinate visitors.
