Restaurants in Dubai Hills Estate
Since its official launch in 2021, Dubai Hills Estate has become one of the city’s most sought-after residential neighbourhoods, often compared to the famous Beverly Hills of Los Angeles. With its beautiful fairways, modern apartment complexes, and the ever-popular Dubai Hills Mall, the area’s appeal continues to grow. Adding to its allure is a magnificent dining scene.
Dubai Hills Golf Club
Hillhouse Brasserie
Looking out over Dubai Hills Golf Club, Hillhouse Brasserie brings a touch of Europe to this corner of the city. Mornings start with fresh pastries and coffee before the kitchen moves to its daytime menu. The wood-fired oven turns out pizzas throughout the day, while main courses lean towards Mediterranean flavours – the braised lamb shank has quickly become a signature dish.
The terrace draws residents throughout the day, particularly during the cooler months. As the sun sets behind the golf course, dinner service begins, transforming the space into one of Dubai Hills' most popular evening locations.
Opening Hours: Daily, 7am to 11pm.
The Duck Hook
This British-inspired venue showcases pub dining. The kitchen focuses on familiar favourites done well – the fish and chips and Angus steak sandwich are particular highlights. Weekend roasts have become something of an institution, bringing residents together over homemade Yorkshire puddings and seasonal vegetables.
The restaurant is pet-friendly, as dogs and their owners can be seen gathering in the outdoor space. It’s a place where neighbours stop by for a quick drink and end up staying for dinner.
Opening Hours: Daily, 11:30am to midnight.
While the Golf Club's restaurants have long been celebrated for their cuisine and scenic views, Dubai Hills Business Park is now welcoming a variety of established restaurants.
Dubai Hills Business Park
Reif Japanese Kushiyaki
Chef Reif Othman brings his creative touch to Dubai Hills Business Park. The menu displays Japanese-inspired street food with signature dishes like silky black cod ramen and otoro with satsuma Wagyu steamed bun. A licensed bar adds to the evening atmosphere, while the open kitchen creates a lively dining experience.
Opening Hours: Daily, 12pm to 3pm, 6pm to 12am.
Hoe Lee Kow
Korean BBQ gets a modern interpretation at Hoe Lee Kow, another venture from Chef Reif Othman. The minimalist space serves classics with a creative twist – from Jeju scallops to grilled ori gogi (Irish duck breast). The cocktail menu makes this restaurant work equally well for casual dinners or special occasions.
Opening Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 12pm to 11pm; Friday to Saturday, 12pm to 12am.
Avatara
Avatara takes vegetarian Indian cuisine in an exciting new direction. Chef Rahul Rana draws inspiration from the chakras to create dishes that are as beautiful as they are flavourful. Simple ingredients are transformed under his expert hands – the smoked beetroot kebab and pumpkin kofta curry uncover just what's possible with vegetarian cooking.
Opening Hours: Daily, 12pm to 11pm.
Moli by SHI
The sister restaurant to Bluewaters' SHI continues its take on Cantonese cuisine in Dubai Hills. Diners come for the expertly made dim sum, but it's dishes like the roasted duck with caviar and foie gras that show what this kitchen can do.
Opening Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 12pm to 1am; Friday to Saturday, 1pm to 2am.
L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele
A sought-after haunt for traditional Neapolitan pizza, L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele was originally founded in 1870 in Naples, Italy and has since amassed a global cult following, making its way into the halls of Dubai Hills Mall. Packing the Italian trattoria aura, the kitchen serves a limited menu with some of the best soft dough, charred crust and minimal toppings. The eatery’s signature pizzas include its margherita, marinara and bufalina — baked using authentic dough made from 00 Caputo flour, San Marzano tomatoes, Fio di Latte mozzarella and wood-fired ovens imported from Naples.
Opening Hours: Monday - Thursday, 12pm to 11 pm; Friday - Sunday, 12 pm to midnight
The Tap House
The Tap House has opened its third venue at Dubai Hills Business Park. Beyond the battered fish and chips and Norwegian salmon, The Tap House draws residents with its live entertainment and sports screenings. Weekend roasts and after-work drinks have made this a busy addition to the neighbourhood.
Opening Hours: Daily, 12pm to 12am; Friday and Saturday, until 1am.
Akiba Dori
Tokyo's energy comes to Dubai Hills at Akiba Dori. Neon lights and street art create an atmosphere that's distinctly different from any other restaurants in the area. The menu combines Japanese street food with an unexpected addition – Neapolitan pizzas. The miso-glazed salmon and Wagyu beef pizza with truffle cream show how well these cuisines work together.
Opening Hours: Daily, 12pm to midnight.
Pitfire Pizza
Dubai's established pizza place has its first licensed location. The sourdough pizzas include the Pepperoni Primo with its distinctive spiced honey drizzle and the Spudnik topped with roasted potatoes and gorgonzola. The garlic knots have already gained a following among regulars.
Opening Hours: Daily, 11am to 11pm.
Duo Gastrobar
Featuring a fusion of modern European food with Asian and Mediterranean flavours, the restaurant was created by Moscow-based chefs Dmitry Blinov and Renat Malikov. With a casual-chic atmosphere and open kitchen, the venue presents an evolving seasonal menu that capitalises on fresh ingredients. Its sharable plates concept offers offbeat flavour pairings, with great value for quality. Highlights include crispy eggplant with honey and miso, yellowtail carpaccio with ponzu and truffle oil, lobster risotto, Yuzu cheesecake and salmon tartare with guacamole.
Opening Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 11pm; Friday to Saturday, 9am to 12am.
Dubai Hills has evolved beyond being just a prime residential destination, home to some of the most spectacular villas in Golf Place among other clusters, such as Park Gate and Emerald Hills. The neighbourhood's growing collection of restaurants reflects that dining in Dubai Hills isn’t just about the variety of cuisines but how these restaurants have become part of daily life. Residents walk their dogs to weekend breakfast, meet friends for business lunches, or gather for family dinners – all without leaving the community. As Dubai Hills continues to grow, its dining scene will remain one of its most appealing features.
