The Coco Mademoiselle is a house-infused Cucumber and Basil Gin, with an equally fascinating backstory. Infatuated upon meeting Coco Chanel herself, Hendricks offered the French fashion icon a glass of champagne, to which she allegedly replied: “I only drink champagne on two occasions: when I am in love and when I am not.” As fabricated lore has it, Hendricks, bewildered, had to then guess which version of Chanel had accepted his drink.
